Exam Pattern:

Exam will be conducted in two stages  

Stage 1:Preliminary Exam 

• There will be a common preliminary exam for all the post. 
• The aspirants who have applied for these 12th level exams need to pass common Preliminary Exam to qualify for the Main Exams. 
• Is an OMR based test 

• The Prelims Exam consists of 100 questions 
• The Prelims Exam carries a total of 100 marks. 
• One mark will be awarded for each correct answer. 
• 1/3rd mark will be reduced for each wrong answer. 

• The question paper medium shall be in Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada. 
• The overall time duration of exam is 1 hour 15 minutes.

• Candidates are required to cover all the subjects and the topics mentioned in Kerala PSC 12th Level Exam Syllabus to get selected in the common preliminary exam. 
• Kerala PSC releases separate cut-offs for each category and those who qualify can appear for the 12th  level main exam.
