Degree level exams are conducted for posts like Sales Assistant, Special Branch Assistant, Armed Police Sub Inspector, Assistant Jailor, Assistant Director, Secretariat Assistant etc
- Candidates can apply for more than one category through this Degree level exam pattern.
Eligibility criteria
- Age-18 years to 36 years for unreserved category. Candidates from the reserved category will be eligible for age relaxation in the upper age limit, which is listed below.

- Nationality –Should be a citizen of India, should belong to the domicile of Kerala.
- Number of attempts-According to the commission, there is no bar on the number of attempts for the candidates.
- Qualification– One should have completed his/her graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Exam Pattern : Exam will be conducted in two stages
Stage 1:Preliminary exam
- There will be a common Preliminary Exam for all the post.
- The aspirants who have applied for these degree level exams need to pass common Preliminary Exam to qualify for the Main Exams.
- Is an OMR based test
- The Prelims Exam consists of 100 questions
- The Prelims Exam carries a total of 100 marks.
- One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
- 1/3rd mark will be reduced for each wrong answer.
- The question paper medium shall be in two languages English and regional language (Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada.)
- The overall time duration of exam is 1 hour 15 minutes.
